The Makerspace at Anschutz Library
The KU Libraries Makerspace provides a venue for KU students, faculty and staff to think, tinker, create and collaborate with others. The equipment and tools available provide a hands-on learning experience for users of all skill levels, with beginners and curious minds welcome. Makerspace staff is available to assist with every part of the process. Located on the second floor of Anschutz Library, the Makerspace facilitates 3D printing, podcasting and general creative discovery.

3D Printing
Three-dimensional (3D) printing is an additive manufacturing process that creates a physical object from a digital design. Bring your creations to life in the Makerspace with staff-assisted printing on one of our three 3D printers - a LulzBot TAZ Workhorse and two Flashforge Adventurers.
Audio/Podcast Recording
Dream up and record your next audio project in the Makerspace. Our gear accommodates up to four guests, with equipment including lavalier and Shure SM58 microphones, headphones, PreSonus HP4 Headphone Amp, Focusrite Scarlet 18i8 audio interface, pop filters, a MacBook and Audacity.
A/V Post-Production
Tackle any audio or video project with our powerful computer workstations. The Makerspace has iMac computers available for audio and video post-production. Software suite includes the Adobe Creative Suite applications and Audacity.
