Biography

Brian Rosenblum is the director of the Institute for Globally Engaged Librarianship, founded in 2025. He is responsible for developing and coordinating international engagement programs in KU Libraries, including library partnerships, exchanges, and research funding among others. Previously he was the founding co-director of the Institute for Digital Research in the Humanities (2010-2025) His professional interests include open access, scholarly communication, electronic publishing, and digital humanities, and international library collaboration. He has contributed to dozens of electronic publishing and digital humanities projects, and, with James Yékú, he co-leads KU's African Digital Humanities Initiative.
