As part of the KU team, the library staff appreciates the efforts
you are making to reach your educational goals. We understand
that many of you are adult students with careers, families, and other
responsibilities competing for your time. With that in mind, our
mission is to provide you with the information resources you need in
a timely and efficient manner.
Come to our front desk to ask for items your professors have put on
reserve, to find answers to your questions about library and Internet
research, or to make an appointment with one of the librarians for in-depth,
one-on-one help with research projects. We can show you how to
use individual online databases, how to order books and articles from
the Lawrence or Medical Center campuses, or how to find both printed
and electronic sources available here in our facility. Many of
our online databases are also available to you on your home or office
computers if you have Internet access.
