How to Locate Full Text Journal Articles in KU Library Collections

Note: not all journals will be available with full-text online.

Determine the topic(s) on which you need to find information.

Find a database that indexes the types of publications (magazines, journals, newspapers) that might publish articles on this topic by subject or by title.

Search that database to locate relevant articles. See the KU Libraries' Subject and Database Guides for help, or Ask a Librarian.

Determine if a specific journal title has full-text available in electronic form to KU users by searching for E-Journals by journal title to determine KU availability. If the journal title is not listed there, search in the library catalog. Any electronic access will be listed.
