Serials Review: Project Timetable

The following chart illustrates the timeline we will use:

FY08 Serials Review (Phase 2)
February 9 - March 5, 2007	Departments confirm Tier 2 list of titles proposed for FY2008 cancellation prior to submission.
March 7, 2007	Proposed lists of all FY2008 cancellations from all departments available on Web site.
March 7 - 26, 2007	Faculty feedback on proposed FY2008 cancellation list.
April 15, 2007	Final list of FY2008 cancellations posted on Web site. Begin notifying subscription agents and vendors of cancellations. Issues of cancelled titles will continue to be received until subscription expires.
FY07 Serials Review (Phase 1 -- Completed)
August 18 - November 20, 2005	Review of library-funded serials by departments together with subject specialist. Create two lists (Tier 1 and Tier 2) of ranked titles to be cancelled. Submit Tier 1 list of titles recommended for FY2007 cancellation.
December 10, 2005	Recommended list of proposed FY2007 cancellations from all departments available on Web site.
December 10, 2005 - February 15, 2006	Faculty feedback on proposed FY2007 cancellation list.
February 27 - March 17, 2006	Faculty feedback on revised FY2007 cancellation list. List will be adjusted based on tiered reductions proposal.
March 31, 2006	Final list of FY2007 cancellations posted on Web site. Begin notifying subscription agents and vendors of cancellations. Issues of cancelled titles will continue to be received until subscription expires.
