SciFinder Scholar Download Page

IMPORTANT: Due to licensing restrictions, SciFinder will only work on a computer with a KU Internet address. If you want to use SciFinder from off-campus, you can use a new service, KU Anywhere, that enables KU faculty, staff, GTAs and GRAs to access servers and databases on the KU network from remote locations anywhere in the world. It is an extension of the KU VPN (Virtual Private Network) service and can be accessed by logging into the Kyou portal (http://staff.ku.edu) and clicking on the "KU Anywhere" link at the top right of the page.

Note: Please terminate your SciFinder session (logoff) once you have completed your searching.

  6. If prompted with the question "Do you have a disk labeled 'Custom site file?' click No.
  7. Click Yes if you want to install the SciFinder Scholar Toolbar for Internet Explorer. After installation to view new SciFinder Scholar toolbar in the IE browser, open a browser window, select View > Toolbars > SciFinder Scholar Bar to activate the SciFinder toolbar.
