Scholarly Communication at KU

"Scholarly Communications" refers to the complex system of creation, dissemination and use of the products of scholarship, both formal and informal, and the social, legal and economic issues and pressures at play on the system.

The University of Kansas has been on the leading edge of reform efforts happening world wide. These efforts encourage wider access to scholarship through the use of new technololgies and alternative and more sustainable models of dissemination and access.
