The electronic
reserves page is asking for a password. How do I get that?
Library staff do not know course passwords. Contact your professor
and/or teaching assistant for the course password.
The material
I need isn't on electronic reserves. What do I do?
Check for the material in the library
catalog. If it is not in on-site reserves, either ask your professor
or ask at a Reserve Service Locations
and a library staff member may be able to help you find the information
elsewhere.

I am trying
to open an electronic reserve document and it is taking a very long
time.
The larger the file size, the longer it will take to download a document.
In addition, the speed of your modem will affect how long it takes
to download a document. Try to connect from a library or lab on campus
to access the document faster.
How do I print?
Use the "Print" button in the browser, or select "print"
from the file menu.
Why
is the Electronic Reserve Document printing backwards or with missing
text?
1. Because of a “bug” in the student’s Internet Explorer or AOL Browser, Acrobat Reader may not be opening up. This problem can easily be fixed by enabling IE to use Acrobat to open all PDF files.
Acrobat 4.0x Viewers
To configure an Acrobat 4.0x viewer as a helper application:
1. Exit from Internet Explorer or AOL.
2. Start the Acrobat 4.0x viewer.
3. Choose File > Preferences > General.
4. Deselect "Web Browser Integration" in the Options section
and then click OK.
5. Exit from the Acrobat 4.0x viewer.
6. Restart Internet Explorer or AOL.
Acrobat 5.0x Viewers
Although this problem supposedly is fixed for this version, if you
have upgraded and still are having trouble, configure Acrobat 5.0x
as follows:
1. Exit from Internet Explorer or AOL.
2. Start the Acrobat 5.0x viewer.
3. Choose Edit > Preferences > General.
4. Select Options on the left hand menu.
5. Uncheck "Display PDF in Browser" and then click OK.
5. Exit from the Acrobat viewer.
6. Restart Internet Explorer or AOL.
2. When printing, choose file, print, and when the print prompt appears,
choose the print as image box before clicking ok.
