Library resources and services for the Distance Masters Program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Welcome to the University of Kansas Libraries! 

I am a librarian with the University libraries and my responsibilities include collection development and instruction for the Pharmacy School.   I have organized several PowerPoint illustrations to guide you through some questions you may have in regard to accessing library literature databases and e-journals. Before starting your research, please have your KU Online ID and password available which are needed to connect to most databases or electronic journals (e-journals) because of licensing restrictions.

Resources to help you with your literature search:

• KU Libraries web site (www.lib.ku.edu)
• Resources or databases available to identify the literature
• KU Link feature (connection from databases to journal articles)
• Locating online journals
• Interlibrary loan/document delivery of articles not available electronically or in any local collections.
• EndNote (a source to manage the literature)
