  • New Database: ARTstor

    Provides more than one million digital images in the arts, architecture, humanities, and sciences with an accessible suite of software tools for teaching and research. Available features include: searching, browsing, & organizing images; adding images; presenting images; and integrating with courseware.   • New Multifunction Device (MFD)

    A new Multifunction Device (MFD) has now replaced the public black-and-white and color laser printers. The MFD can also be used as a copier and a scanner. It is located in the space formerly occupied by the Book-Eye scanner. The Book-Eye scanner has moved to the former copier room, and the old copier is now located against the pillar opposite the door to Room 112.   • Spring Semester Free Printing Available January 10

    The $8.00 free printing for active Spring Semester students is available as of January 10, 2012. Once their free printing allowance is depleted, students can print by adding money to their KU Card account through the finances tab of the KU Portal or use one of the cash to card machines. The closest cash to card machine is located on Level 4 of the Kansas Union, near the Commerce Bank counter.

    Susan Craig, the Art Librarian, has created a new LibGuide featuring information resources about the buildings on the University of Kansas-Lawrence campus. It can be found at http://guides.lib.ku.edu/campusbuildings
