Watson Library will be closed Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4.

The building will be open Sunday, July 5 from noon - 6 p.m., but access to campus will be limited due to the Tour of Lawrence bicycle race. Various races are scheduled to take place on campus between 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. During this time, the following changes to road and parking accessibility will be in effect:

- Traffic will be restricted from Jayhawk Boulevard.

- The parking garage north of the Kansas Union will be open and unrestricted for parking.

- The parking lot at Sunnyside and Illinois should also be available (this lot is most easily accessed from 19th to Illinois, not from Indiana to Sunnyside).

- Parking will not be available on Jayhawk Boulevard, Memorial Drive or Lilac Lane.

- Parking in the lots situated off of Lilac Lane (behind Fraser and Blake Halls) should be available when races are not in session.
