Free printing during finals for KU students
May 4, 2012
KU Libraries, in partnership with KU Information Technology (KU IT), is providing $8.00 in free printing during finals to every enrolled KU student at all library locations.
The free printing is also available at computer labs and multifunction device locations on campus during finals week. The funds can be used for printing end-of-semester reports, portfolios, resumes for graduating seniors, or other academic projects.
The idea for additional free printing during finals week came from a student technology consultation roundtable recently hosted by KU Information Technology. KU IT is holding the roundtables to gain feedback from students and learn how the organization can best meet their needs.
All enrolled students receive $8.00 in free printing at the beginning of each fall and spring semester, and $4.00 for summer semester. Starting today, $8.00 in additional funds have been added to students' accounts for use through May 21.
In addition to the free printing, KU Libraries will have extended hours and free coffee and hot chocolate in the evenings at Watson and Anschutz during finals week.
