Finding the Map Collection

The Thomas R. Smith Map Collection is located on the first floor of Anschutz Library (see map below).

Anschutz Library is located in the center of campus, south of Hoch Auditorium/Budig Hall (Jayhawk Boulevard), north of Summerfield (Sunnyside Avenue) and east of Murphy Hall (also on Sunnyside Avenue).

Directions to the University of Kansas, Lawrence Campus

To get to campus from K-10 highway, continue west after K-10 turns into 23rd Street. Turn north (right) at Naismith. Continue north past 19th Street.

To get to campus from I-70, take the West Lawrence exit and turn south on McDonald Drive. McDonald Drive shortly turns into Iowa Street. Follow Iowa Street to 15th Street. Turn east (left). Go to the stop sign. Turn south (right) on Sunnyside Avenue
