The black-and-white photocopier next to the T. R. Smith Collection's Circulation Desk has a removable lid that makes it easier to photocopy atlases and maps without damage. Map collection staff are available.

The photocopier accepts KU cards and coins. Payment can also be made in small bills if there is sufficient change on hand.

The paper sizes are letter (8.5"x11"), legal (8.5"x14") and ledger (11"x17"). Aerial photographs printed on paper may also be photocopied, although the image quality is limited.

If a better-quality black-and-white or colored digital file or print is desired, the 11"x17" scanner in the maps public area can be used by patrons. A scanning and printing service for larger images is also provided by staff using the 24"x36" flatbed scanner in the GIS and Numeric Data Lab (room 105).
