Ballot to Amend the Code: Group Representatives will send ballots to their constituents on Monday, Mar. 31st. The ballots will be due back to Representatives two weeks later on Apr. 13th. Representatives will tally ballots, then send them to the Secretary no later than Monday, Apr. 21st for a final accounting. The Secretary will then make the results of the vote public at the regular meeting of the CCEB on Wednesday, Apr. 23rd.

HealthWave Survey Memo: Kevin Fussell will make a copy of the memo, received by and passed on by Al Mauler, to Sue Hewitt for investigation. The survey proposes to "determine the potential number of participants and children who would be eligible for HealthWave (Title XXI) if they were not state employees."

Diversity Committee: Considering planting a sycamore tree in memory of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Discussion of the Best Time for a 2nd General Meeting: Wednesday, May 21st has been tentatively set as the date of the 2nd General Meeting of CCEB for the current period. Accordingly, Watson Conference Rms. A & B have been reserved from 1-3 p.m. on the 21st. CCEB will meet at the regularly scheduled time on Wednesday, May 14th, but will cancel the meeting of Wednesday, May 28th. CCEB hopes to feature topics ranging from the winners of CEYA, the Watson reconfiguration, Code revision, news of the "Alternatives to Civil Service" proposal, and an introduction of the new CCEB. Jesse Bryson has volunteered to coordinate with the Dean's schedule.

CCEB Elections: CCEB is considering the use of electronic ballots. The possible format of ballots will be reviewed Wednesday, Apr. 9th at the regular CCEB meeting. The ballot format will be decided Wednesday, Apr. 23rd at the regular CCEB meeting and ballots will be sent by Group Representatives to their constituents on Monday, Apr. 28th. Ballots will be due back to Group Representatives no later than Friday, May 9th. Votes will be tallied by Representatives and sent to the Secretary no later than Monday, May 12th for a final look. Results will be presented at the regular meeting of CCEB on Wednesday, May 14th.

1st Meeting of the New & Old CCEB: The meeting will take place during CCEB's regular meeting of Wednesday, June 11th.
