Group Reports

Group 1: Nothing to report

Group 2: Nothing to report

Group 3:
- Julie Warrick was promoted to Library Associate.
- Center for Scholars construction is progressing.
- Center stacks elevator burned out & the employees were evacuated twice when the fire alarms went off.

Group 4:
-Construction in Anschutz is nearing completion. Need new furniture when it's complete.

Committee Reports

Support Staff Senate:
-Met briefly to attend the brown bag event with area legislators sponsored by the Unclassified Senate.
-Legislative Day is Tuesday, January 26th. It is a day when Support Staff and Classified Staff from around Kansas meet.
-This year Support Staff and Classified Staff will host a continental-style brunch in the Capitol building and legislators are invited to come.

University Committee on Libraries: Nothing to report

Planning and Resources Committee (PRC): December meeting was cancelled so nothing to report.

Mentoring Committee: Nothing to report

Meeting Updates

Dean's Council (next 1/15): Hasn't met yet

Management Council (next ?): Hasn't met yet

Dean's KULSS Meeting (next 2/2): Cancelled last meeting

Concerns to bring up with the Dean: Probably need to meet before February to get budget approval for conference

Kyle needs to change the time of the meetings from 11:00-12:00 because of his Reference Desk shift.
