The KU Libraries Support Staff (KULSS) is a representative body which serves the interests of all Support Staff employees of the Libraries. As an advisory body, KULSS Executive Board discusses matters and decisions affecting Support Staff and makes recommendations to the Libraries' administration.

Executive Board Meetings

KULSS Exec meetings are held every other Thursday from 10:00-11:30. The locations vary but they are announced in the agenda sent by your group representative.

Voice your concerns! If you have any concerns that you would like brought to the attention of the Dean, please contact your group representive or stop by one of our meetings.

News Affecting Library Support Staff

• The Planning and Resources Committee is coming off hiatus in FY12.
  
  

• Merit Raises for FY12! At the October 2011 All-Staff meeting the Dean announced that the Board of Regents has approved merit raises for university employees. Raises will be considered for staff hired on or before March 1, 2011 and will be determined based on evaluations from 2008, 2009, and 2010. Employees will be sent a letter in December to report their increase and the raise will appear on the January 6, 2012 paycheck.
