The University of Kansas Libraries
Internships and Practicums
Library Graduate Students: Each year, the KU Libraries accept graduate students of library and information studies for internships (paid) and practicum opportunities. Students participate in a structured field experience designed to enhance their graduate course work. The library and the graduate schools of library and information sciences will work together to insure that the students receive appropriate academic credit for their work (when applicable). The Libraries typically offer 1to 2 paid internships and several unpaid practicum opportunities each year. These may be summer, one semester or one year assignments.
For general questions about practicum opportunities, please contact Mike Broadwell (mikebr@ku.edu)
