Present: Erin, Michelle, Donna, Julie
Next month we will start with Monday meetings.
We had a separate meeting in mid-July with guests to play Yan-Koloba,
which was a lot of fun! Chanting and movement game, concentration
required, teamwork. Good things were said about it. It
could be used for brainstorming, sharing ideas or as stress relief. Fun
and energetic, but not childish or cheesy
(Mr. Ngomosi said it’s the only game in his society played by both
children and adults, together and separately.) It’s recommended
to play for an hour to 1 ½ hours for benefit.
This is something that could be done through HR. It’s best
to not know much about it going in (expectations) and it’s not
embarrassing.
We are on the new Dean’s meeting schedule, but don’t know when that will be yet. Will have an agenda prepared. We would like to have more diverse Diversity Committee.
