April 25th, 2007 meeting

We had an evaluation Duigiud workshops. We talked about what we liked and the feedback from others who attended. We signed Thank You cards for Lewis, as well as Lorraine and Denise for their generous support. We all agreed that we want to get a move on with the next event and not get stagnant—we want to be an ACTIVE committee!

The next event will be with film professor Kevin Willmott, who made ‘C.S.A.’ and is working on a new film (‘Bunker Hill’). Channette will be the contact person for this, since she knows him. Erin will make up a to do list to send to the committee. Contact Rebecca Smith for publicity. Have people RSVP to attend. We talked about where to have this event—Alderson Aud. in the Union or Comp. Center?

We discussed having certificates for our events, and renew getting LEEP credits for people who attend as part of staff development. Erin will work on this.

Other idea for future event—Aging in the workplace—especially with many workers now facing the possibility of caring for children and parents.

We would like to have meeting with Lorraine. Erin will look into setting this up for possibly next month’s meeting.
