Minutes 1/10/05

· Upon looking at the dates previously reserved in the CIC for the movie series, it was agreed to move the first one back to Tues. Jan. 25th. The room will be reserved from 11:30 – 2:00 for set-up and clean-up purposes. Popcorn and beverages will be served (we still need to work out who will be bringing things. We can be reimbursed for our expenses out of the budget.) We also agreed to have the next movie in March and the last movie of the semester in May. Erin is still working on getting the final ok from Stella regarding Remember the Titans, and will send an email off to Sharon to see if she would be willing to approach Stella in person to get an answer.
· Sherry has graciously volunteered to coordinate schedules for the volunteers who are going to work on the proposal for the minority programs. These people include Sherry, Erin, and Sharon. Others who are busy at this time may wish to join in later in subsequent steps of the proposal writing process. Erin is also going to send out a link from an email Sharon sent her promoting the hiring of a diversified staff.
· Michelle talked briefly about the website and what she is working on. She hasn’t loaded it on the “big internet” yet, but hopes that everything will work correctly when she does so. Erin is still working on getting the new icon. Erin and Ana will discuss later who is going to be in charge of the Recipe of the Week to send to Michelle each week. We might beseech Laura Horne to assist with the calendar for the website seeing as she has worked on the SDC website and mentioned being willing to assist. Erin will update the goals sheet to reflect goals already completed and revised goals for the year 2005 to send to Michelle.
· Erin apologized for being flighty lately! She might need a kick in the pants every once in a while to get her back on track!


Our next meeting is scheduled for February 7th at 2:00-3:00 in Watson 502B.
