The Hispanic-American Experience
The diverse materials in this collection range from poetry by the indigenous
forerunners of today’s Central American immigrants to the work of Los
Angeles’ Chicano muralists. The texts of treaties, maps, a dazzling
selection of full color artworks and examples of Cuban, Puerto Rican, Mexican-American
and Dominican music reflect the full range of the Latino experience.
