Two black and white photocopiers are available. One machine will accept cash (dollar bills, nickels, dimes and quarters) or the KU Card. The other accepts either dimes or the KU Card. Letter and legal size copies cost $.08 with a KU online ID or $.10 with cash. Ledger size copies cost $.16 with the KU card, or $.20 with cash. Value can be added to the KU card online or at cash-to-card machines located in Watson Library and the Kansas Union. Two networked laser printers are available for printing from most of the library workstations, one black-and-white and one color. The charge for black-and-white printing is $.08 per print, and the charge for color laser printing is $1.00 per print. Users must be logged on to a library workstation with a KU Online ID and have sufficient funds on their KU cards to print from the laser printers. Value can be added to the KU card online or at cash-to-card machines located in Watson Library and the Kansas Union. A stand-alone laser printer is available at one Express workstation to allow users to print a few pages without charge if they lack a KU Online ID.
A coin-operated Minolta MS-6000 reader-printer is available for viewing and making copies from microfilm and microfiche. The reader-printer is located in the room across from the women's restroom. Copies are 10 cents per page, and the machine accepts dimes only. Change is available at the service desk.
