Prices for KU Library Borrower Cards

 

Kansas Residents and KU Alumni Association Members
     -  $20.00 per year

Greater Western Library Alliance (GWLA) Reciprocal Circulation
     -  $10.00 per year

UMKC Courtesy Card  (cost determined by expiration date on Courtesy Card)
    -  $7.00 per semester (students) or $20.00 per year (faculty and staff)

Kansas School Groups (applications and payment submitted in advance of campus visit)
    -  $4.00 each; non-renewable

KU Summer Camps
   -  $6.00 each; non-renewable

Residents of Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, Nebraska
    -  $40.00 per year

The fee applies to all new cards, replacement cards, and annual renewals.  Charges include the applicable sales tax and are payable before the card is issued or renewed.

Exceptions

Haskell Indian Nations University

Surviving spouses of emeritus or retired KU faculty and faculty from Emporia State University, Fort Hays State University, Kansas State University, Pittsburg State University, Washburn University, and Wichita State University (CODDL institutions) are not required to pay at the time of purchase or renewals.  Replacement cards cost $20.00.  All other paper work must be completed. Individuals in these categories should identify themselves, and library staff will work with you to confirm your status.
