Where is the KU Library Borrower Card Accepted?


The KU Library Borrower Card will be honored at the following library locations:

  • Anschutz Library including the T.R. Smith Map Collections
  • Gorton Music and Dance Library
  • Murphy Art and Architecture Library
  • Regents Center Library – Edwards Campus
  • Spahr Engineering Library
  • Watson Library
  • Wheat Law Library


The KU Library Borrower Card is also accepted at the Ermal Garinger Academic Resource Center (EGARC) in 4070 Wescoe.  However, the Access and Circulation Policies and Procedures of the University of Kansas Libraries do not apply at EGARC.

The KU Library Borrower Card is not accepted at Spencer Research Library or at the KU Medical Center libraries; both locations have a registration process for non-KU borrowers.

The non-renewable KU Library Borrower Permit for School Group Students is not accepted at the Wheat Law Library or at the Ermal Garinger Academic Resource Center.
