Access to Library Services Policies

Access to Library Services Policies identify the requirements for access to library services for KU students, faculty, and staff on the Lawrence and Edwards campuses, for KU Medical Center students, faculty, and staff for library use on the Lawrence and Edwards campuses, for visiting scholars, and for other library users including those from Haskell Indian Nations University, Kansas residents, and KU Alums.  Levels of library service are defined, and borrower responsibilities are outlined.

Circulation Policies and Procedures

This section includes a Circulation Policy FAQ, how to use your KU Card in the KU Libraries, and information about loan periods, library notices, patron barcodes, recalls and requests, and renewing and returning library materials.  Library policies for fines and fees and lost item replacement charges are outlined here.  Information is included on what is required for Kansas residents, KU Alums, and other library users to acquire a KU Library Borrower Card.
