New Student Orientation
Going to college is a major life transition. As a student, whether you move away from home or continue living with family, you will assume greater responsibility for yourself, meet a wide variety of people, and adjust to the academic demands of college. With this in mind, orientation is a program through which you will begin the process of transitioning to your new environment. At the orientation session and throughout your first year, New Student Orientation (NSO) will introduce you to resources that could act as catalysts in fostering a successful transition to the KU community.
